Archie is a London based property lawyer renowned for his expertise in real estate finance.  His predominantly lender-focused work in this area includes advising banks, pension funds, insurance companies and alternative lenders on their loans secured over English property.

Archie also heads up our High Value Residential Property practice. Working closely alongside our Private Wealth team, this role involves advising high-net-worth individuals, family offices and trust companies on acquisitions, sales and financings of their residential property, and how to structure their transactions.

Clients appreciate Archie’s calm and efficient approach, valuing his ability to navigate complex legal landscapes with precision and commercial acumen.

    Advised £135 million whole-loan and related intercreditor arrangements for a mixed-use asset in Notting Hill, London.

  • Investec

    Advised on a £74 million loan to Hines, secured against a portfolio of nine light industrial and mid-box assets.

  • Wells Fargo

    Advised on the development financing of Regents Wharf, King’s Cross for Regents Wharf Property Unit Trust.
  • Leumi

    Advised on the flagship £65 million financing of The Mailbox, a mixed-use asset in Birmingham.

  • £24.5 million Chelsea townhouse acquisition

    Advised an overseas purchase on acquisition of a £24.5 million family home in prime Chelsea (and associated purchase of Mayfair flat for member of same family).

  • Purchase of £8 million Kensington residential property for conversion

    Advising on c.£8 million purchase of a Kensington townhouse for redevelopment into three flats for onward sale.
