Joanne Wallace
Senior knowledge development lawyer
Joanne is the senior knowledge lawyer for energy transition and responsible business. She works closely with members of the firm's international Energy Transition practice to facilitate cross-practice collaboration and develop thought leadership on emerging issues and developments. She also advances the integration of responsible business practices into our client work.
Joanne leads on cross-firm upskilling and knowledge sharing on the energy transition, with a focus on the evolving policy landscape. As well as building our practice support resources, Joanne engages with external industry groups and initiatives on energy transition and climate matters and attends industry conferences and events.
Joanne also advances awareness and understanding of responsible business practices in legal services to integrate sustainability into our client work, working closely with the firm's operations responsible business team.
Joanne previously had a background in international corporate finance with a broad range of corporate experience, including public company takeovers, equity capital markets, private company sales and acquisitions and corporate governance. Before specialising in knowledge development, she practised as a senior associate in the London and Hong Kong corporate finance practices of another major international law firm.
